COACH ALLEN LOWE

Allen Lowe has been an educator and coach for 43 years.  He has been a head coach in football, basketball, baseball and track, but football is where he made his mark.  In 33 years as a head coach, he won 262 games and won 4 state championships. He coached at Calvary Baptist Day School in Savannah, Georgia, for 6 years, and the remaining 27 were at Deerfield-Windsor School in Albany, Georgia.   He and his wife Piper have 3 adult children: sons Tanner and Tyler and daughter Landon.  Allen and Piper are members of Sherwood Baptist Church in Albany.   

ANDREW CARTER CURTIS, DVM

Andrew Curtis was born and reared in Albany, Georgia, where he attended and graduated from Deerfield-Windsor School and was a captain of Coach Lowe’s first state championship football team in 2002. He earned degrees in Animal Health and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia before moving back to South Georgia. Aside from practicing veterinary medicine, Andrew writes and has published several books. He and his wife Leigh have two young sons: Grayson and Everett. As a family, they stay committed to the Body of Christ.
